Applications are invited from the eligible candidates who
are the citizens of India as defined under article 5-8 of the constitution of
India in prescribed Standard Form of Application published in part IX of the
Assam Gazette along with attested copies of all certificates/testimonials and 2
(two) recent passport size photographs duly attested by gazette Officer for
filling up the following vacant post under the Directorate of Handloom &
Textile, Assam Guwahati-1

Scale of Pay: Pay Band-2 Rs. 14,000-49,000/-pm+ GP: Rs.
8700/- pm
Educational Qualification: Minimum qualification HSLC passed
and having 10 years experience in weaving & conversant with preparatory
design including working of Dobby, Jacquard and Drawbay attachments.
Reservation: Un-reserved category
Age limit: Candidates should not be less than 18 years and
not above 43 years of age on 01-01-2019. Relaxation of upper age limit shall be
applicable as per existing rules.
How to Apply: Duly filled up application form along with 1
(One) self-addressed envelope of 5 cm X 11 cm affixing postal stamps of Rs. 5.00
only will have to be submitted in a sealed envelope to the Director of Handloom
& Textile, Assam, Guwahati-1 on or before 05-08-2019.
Selection Process: Candidates will have to appear for
interview/practical test at their own expenses as and when called for.
Canvassing directly or indirectly will disqualify the candidature.
