The
Central Selection Board (CSB), Bodoland Territorial
Council, Kokrajhar invites application from the eligible citizen of India for
filling SIU approved sanction vacant posts of Grade–III (Non-Gazetted) under
Forest Department. Interested candidates

1. Forester-I
No vacancy: 22
Payscale: P.B.-2 14,000- 49,000/-+GP 6200 and other
allowances.
Educational qualification & other eligibility criteria
Educational Qualification: Minimum Bachelor Degree in any
discipline from a recognized University or equivalent.
Physical Requirement: Height-163 cm for General and 153 cm
for ST(p)/ST(H). Chest normal-79 cm round. Expanded-84 cm round.
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years on 31st January 2019.
Relaxation of age for SC/ST is 5 years & 3 years as per Govt. rules.
2. Forest Guard
No Vacancy: 70
Payscale: P.B-2 14,000-49,000/- +GP 5600 and other
allowances
Educational qualification & other eligibility criteria
Educational Qualification: Minimum HS (10+2) or equivalent.
Physical Requirements: Height-163 cm for General and 153 cm
for ST (P)/ST (H). Chest normal-79 cm round. Expanded-84 cm round.
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years on 31st January 2019.
Relaxation of age for SC/ST is 5 years & 3 years as per Govt. rules.
Application fee & payment procedure:
Selection process: The Mode of Selection for the post of
Forester-I and Forest Guard as mentioned above will be as follows.
a) Physical Fitness Test comprising 26 km walking to be covered
within 4 hours followed by a medical examination will be also conducted for
Forester-I and Forest Guard.
b) Candidates qualified in Physical Fitness Test shall be
called for written test. The written test will be 3 hours on General Knowledge
General Mathematics and General English.
c) Viva –Voice Test

How to Apply: Duly filled up Prescribed application form
along with all testimonials, photographs and one self-addressed envelope (size 23cmX10cm) affixing a postal stamp of Rs.
5/- should be submitted to “The Member
Secretary, Central Selection Board (CSB), BTC, Post Office Road, Kokrajhar, BTC
(Assam), PIN Code-783370” on or before 5th August 2019 up to 5.00 PM.

Documents to be furnished:
- Documents to be furnished with the application form are all educational certificates from HSLC onwards along with other professional/experience, if any must be furnished. The candidates belonging to ST/SC/OBC/MOBC must furnish photocopy of Caste Certificate issued from the competent authority to proof as the permanent residence of BTC area. And the candidates other than ST/SC/OBC/MOBC category must furnish certificates from the Municipal Board/Town Committee for urban area and Village Council Development Committee (VCDC) certificates for rural area duly countersigned by the Revenue Circle/Block Development Officer concerned to proof of the permanent residence of BTC area. The candidates must sign all the photocopies of documents himself/herself as certified to be true.
