(Radio Operator) and Head Constable(Radio Mechanic)in Group C on temporary
basis likely to be permanent in Border Security Force.

Pay: Level -4 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 25,500
– 81, 100 (as per 7 CPC) + Other allowances.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board and two years Industrial Training Institute
Certificate (ITI)in Radio and Television or, Electronics or, Computer
Operator& Programming Assistant or, Data Preparation & Computer
Software or, General Electronics or, Data entry operator from a recognized
Institute.
Or,
Pass in Intermediate or 12th
standard or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a
recognized Board or University or Institution as a regular student with
aggregate 60% marks in PCM subject.
Head Constable (Radio Mechanic)

Pay: Level -4 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 25,500

Physical Standard:
Height:
168 Cms for male and 157 for Female candidates.
Chest: 80 Cms (85 Cms after expansion) for
male and not applicable for female candidates.
Weight: Corresponding to Height both for
male and female.
Note 1:
The minimum height of male candidates falling in category of Garhwalies,
Kumaonese, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, and candidates belonging to the states of Sikkim, Nagaland,
Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal
Pradesh, Kashmir, and Leh, and Ladakh region of J&K. The height for all
candidates belonging to ST/Adivasis or Tribals including Mizos and Nagas will
be 162.5 Cms.
Note
2: Chest for Adivasis or Tribes unexpanded 76 Cms
and expanded 81 Cms.
Note3: The
minimum height of female candidates falling in categories of Garhwall’s,
Kumaonese, Gorkhas,
Dogras, Marathas, and candidates belonging to the states of Sikkim, Nagaland,
Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal
Pradesh, Kashmir, and Leh and Ladakh regions of J&K will be Cms. The height
for all candidates belonging to schedule Tribes/Adibasis or Tribals including
Mizos and Nagas will be 154 Cms.

Examination Fees and mode of payment:
candidates belonging to General (UR) and OBC categories will have to pay
examination fee @ Rs. 100/- only through SBI online payment gateway by using
Internet Banking/Credit/Debit cards/Bhim Pay.
No fees for SC/ST, Female candidates and
BSF serving personnel.
