2020: A recruitment notice is published at the official website of Directorate of
Technical Education (DTE), Assam, (https://dte.assam.gov.in/)
for recruitment to the post of Grade-III posts, at Dhemaji Engineering College,
Dhemaji.
1. Junior Assistant
No of Post: 08 (UR:4, OBC:2, SC:1, ST(P):1)
Educational Qualification:
(a) Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized
University or any Examination declared equivalent by the Govt.
(b) Must possess Computer Skills & proficiency for
handling data and text on computer
Scale of Pay: PB-2 of Rs. 14000-60500 plus Grade Pay of
Rs.6200/-
2. Junior Instructor
No of Post: 14 (UR:6, OBC:4, SC:1, ST(P):1, ST(H):1, EWS:1)
Educational Qualification:
(a) Passed HSLC or TSLC and having Certificate from ITI or
equivalent in appropriate trade with 5 years of experience in the relevant
trade.
(b) The experience must be from Govt. recognized organization
Scale of Pay: PB-2 of Rs. 14000-60500 plus Grade Pay of Rs.6800/-
3. Scientific Assistant (Physics)
No of Post: : 01 UR
Educational Qualification:
(a)Degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
(b)Preference will be given to candidates having
Major/Honours in Physics in Degree level
Scale of Pay: PB-2 of Rs. 14000-60500 plus Grade Pay of
Rs.7400/-
4. Scientific Assistant (Chemistry)
No of Post: 01 UR
Educational Qualification:
(a)Degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
(b)Preference will be given to candidates having
Major/Honours in Chemistry in Degree level
Scale of Pay: PB-2 of Rs. 14000-60500 plus Grade Pay of
Rs.7400/-
Age Limit: Candidates must not be less than 18 years and
more than 38 years of age on 01.01.2020. However, the upper age limit is
relaxable as per existing Govt. rules

Selection Process:
a. Candidates may be Short Listed based on the overall
academic records. In such a case only Shortlisted candidates will have to
appear in the Written Test.
b. Written Test & Computer Proficiency/Practical Test: Details
of the written test & computer proficiency test will be uploaded in the
website and will also be published in the News Paper.
