Applications are hereby invited from the intending candidates for filling up the following Grade – III post in the Office of the Resident Commissioner (Treasury Establishment), Government of Assam, Assam Bhawan, No, 1, Sardar Patel Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi - 110021

Scale of Pay: PB 2: 14000– 49000/- Grade Pay- 7400/- plus other allowances admissible under the rules

Educational Qualification: Graduation+ Working knowledge of MS Office and related applications

Age: 18 to 38 years as on 1st January, 2019. Upper age limit is relaxed up to 5 years for ST/ SC and 3 years for OBC candidates



How to apply: 
  • Filled in application in Standard Form (Assam Gazette part IX) with self-attested supporting documents (HSLC Certificate for Date of Birth Proof, Degree Pass Certificate & Mark Sheet) and 2 (two) copies of latest passport size photo along with one self-addressed envelope with a postal stamp of Rs.5.00 (Rupees five) to be submitted. Name of the applicant to be written clearly at the backside of the photographs and candidate must mention mobile Number & mail ID for communication. 
  • Applications are to be addressed to the Deputy Secretary & Officer on Special Duty (Establishment), Office of the Resident Commissioner, Government of Assam, Assam Bhawan, No.1 Sardar Patel Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi-110021 personally or by post. The envelope containing the application should be superscribed mentioning the name of the post applied for on the envelope
  • Candidates already in service should apply through proper channel.

Last date for submission of Application: 12th December 2019

Selection process: Eligible candidate will have to appear for Written Test of 300 Marks

  • General English (Precis Writing, Drafting, Composition & Grammar) – 100 marks,
  • General Mathematics (HSLC Standard)-100 marks and 
  • General Knowledge – 100 Marks.
  • Candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for Computer Proficiency Test - 50 Marks.
  • Final Selected list will be prepared on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in both written and Computer Proficiency Test
