Rain Forest Research Institute (RFRI), Jorhat under
Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate change, Govt. of India invites
applications from eligible candidates for filling up the following posts:
1. Multi Tasking Staff
No of posts: 12 (8-Unreserved,
1-ST, 2-OBC, 1-EWS)
Pay: Pay Level-1; Rs. 18,000-56,900
Educational
Qualification:
i. 10th class pass from a recognized board/school.
ii. 3 years or more experience in relevant trade.
Age: Not below 18 years or exceeding 27 years. Age relaxation up
to 5 years will be allowed for the departmental candidates. Relaxable for
government servants in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the
Government of India from time to time.
2.
Technician (Maintenance)
No of posts: 3 [Electrician,
Plumber, Bamboo Worker]
Pay: Pay Level-2; Rs. 19,900-63,200
Educational Qualification: Matriculation
from a recognised board with ITI certificate in relevant trade or certificate
course from Govt. recognised institute.
Age: Not below 18 years or exceeding 30 years. Age relaxation up
to 5 years will be allowed for the departmental candidates. Relaxable for
government servants in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the
Government of India from time to time.
3.
Technical Assistant
No of posts: 8 [Chemistry: 2,
Botany: 1, Zoology: 1, Agriculture: 2, Forestry: 2], (UR: 3, SC: 2, OBC: 2,
EWS: 1)
Pay: Pay Level-5; Rs. 29,200-92,300
Educational Qualification: Bachelor degree in
Science in the relevant field/ specialization or equivalent from a recognised
University.
Age: Not below 18 years or exceeding 30 years. Age
relaxation up to 5 years will be allowed for the departmental candidates.
Relaxable for government servants in accordance with the instructions or orders
issued by the Government of India from time to time.
Venue
of written test: The test
shall be conducted at Jorhat, Agartala and Aizawl.
Application Fee: Non- refundable
Demand Draft of Rs. 200.00 (Rupees Two Hundred) only from any nationalized Bank
in favour of Director, Rain Forest Research Institute, Jorhat.
Persons With Disabilities (PWD) and Female candidates are
exempted from payment of fees. SC/ST candidates who apply against the vacancy
of their respective quota are also exempted from payment of fees. Relaxation in
fees is not applicable to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying against unreserved
posts.
