A walk-in-interview will be held on the date & time
mentioned below at Industrial Training Institute, Guwahati, Birubari, Gopinath
Nagar, Guwahati-16 (opp. to B. Baruah Cancer Hospital) for selection of
candidates to be engaged on contractual basis for the following position in
consolidated pay under Institute Management Committee, ITI, Guwahati.
1. Vocational Instructor Mechanic Motor Vehicle mech. Diesel
No of vacancy: 02
Remuneration: Rs. 15,000/- (fixed)
Essential Qualification & Experience: a)Degree in Automobile/mechanical
Engg. (with specialization in Automobile) from recognized college/university
with one year experience in the automobile industry and should possess valid
LMV Driving license.
Or
Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical (specialization in
automobile) from a recognized board of technical education with two years
experience in Automobile industry and should possess valid LMV Driving license.
Or
NTC/NAC in the Trade of Mechanic Motor vehicle”/ "Mechanic Diesel” with 3 years
post-qualification experience in the relevant field and should possess valid
LMV driving license.
b) With “National Crafts Instructor Certificate”
2.Vocational Instructor, Electrical Wireman
No of Vacancy: 03
Remuneration: Rs. 15,000/- (fixed)
Essential Qualification & Experience: Degree in Electrical/Electrical and Electronic
Engineering from recognized Engineering College/University with one year experience
in the relevant field.
Or
Diploma in Electrical/Electrical and Electronic Engineering
from a recognized board of technical education with two years experience in the
relevant field
Or
10th class examination and MTC/NAC in the Trade
of “Electrical " / “Wireman” with 3 years post qualification experience in the
relevant field and one-year craftsman instructor training under CITS.
3. Vocational Instructor, Fitter/Turner/Mechanist Welder
No of Vacancy: 04
Remuneration: Rs. 15,000/- (fixed)
Essential Qualification & Experience: Degree in
Mechanical Engineering from recognized Engineering
College/University with one year experience in the relevant field.
Or
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized board of
Technical education with two years experience in the relevant field.
Or
10th Class Pass +NTC/NAC in the Trade of “Fitter”/
“Turner” / “Mechanist”/ “Welder” with 3 years Post qualification experience I the
relevant field and one year Craft Instructor training under CITS
4. Vocational Instructor, Electronic Mechanic
No of vacancy: 01
Remuneration: Rs. 15,000/- (fixed)
Essential Qualification & Experience: Degree in Electronics / Electronics and Electronic Communication Engineering from recognized Mechanic Engineering
College/university with one year experience in the relevant field
OR
Diploma in Electronics / Electronics and
telecommunication/Electronics and communication from a recognized board of
technical education with two years experience in the relevant field
OR
10th class examination and NTC/NAC in the Trade With 3
years’ post-qualification experience in the relevant field and one Year Craft
Instructor Training under CITS
5. Vocational Instructor, Stenographer & Secretarial
Assistant
No of Vacancy: 01
Remuneration: Rs. 14,000/- (fixed)
Essential Qualification & Experience: Diploma in Office Management from recognized board/Technical
Education with two years’ experience in the relevant field.
OR
Assistant NTC/NAC in the trade with three years’ experience
in the relevant field and one year Craft Instructor Training under CITS
6. Vocational Instructor, Multimedia Animation and Special Effect
No of Vacancy: 01
Remuneration: Rs. 14,000/- (fixed)
Essential Qualification & Experience: Degree in Multimedia and Animation from a recognized University with one-year Multimedia
working experience in the relevant field.
OR
Diploma in Multimedia and Animation from a recognized board of
Technical education with two years working experience in the relevant field.
OR
NTC/NAC holder in Multimedia Animation & Special Effects
trade with three years post qualification working experience in the relevant
field and one year Craft Instructor Training under CITS in MASE trade
7. Vocational Instructor, Plumber/Mason/ Surveyor Basic
Architecture
No of Vacancy: 03
Remuneration: Rs. 15,000/- (fixed)
Essential Qualification & Experience: Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering with 1 or 2 years
post-qualification experience Plumber respectively
OR
NTC / NAC passed in Plumber / Mason Basic (Building
Constructor) /Surveyor or Architecture relevant trade with 3 years’ post
qualification experience and Passed National Craft Instructor
Training course
in Plumber / Mason (Building Constructor) / Surveyor or relevant trade.

Interested candidates may appear before the selection committee with all
original documents/testimonials, experience certificates etc.with sets of
photocopies of the same along with 2 (two) copies of recent passport size
photographs including one filled in standard form of application on the date of
interview.
N.B. : No TA/DA will
be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
