Applications are invited from intending and eligible candidates for the recruitment of Graduate Teacher including Language Teacher or Hindi Teacher or Classical Teacher in Provincialised Secondary Schools, in Barpeta district, under Inspector of Schools of Barpeta

Total vacancy: 500

Scale of Pay: PB 2 Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 49,000/- Grade pay Rs. 8,700/- and other allowances as admissible

Educational Qualification: B.A, B.Sc, and B.Com with minimum 50% marks from any recognized University and B.Ed/B.T Degree from the Institution recognized by the NCTE. Candidate must be TET qualified with minimum 55% in each paper for reserved Post and minimum 60% in each paper for UR posts

In-case of post of Hindi Teacher/Classical Teacher (Sanskrit & Arabic) the candidate must be qualified as follows:

Graduate Teacher (Hindi): Pravin/Ratna in Hindi and 50% marks in B.A/B.Sc/B.Com degree from any recognized University or B.A./B.Sc/B.Com degree with 50% marks and Hindi as one of the subject. The candidate must have completed B.Ed/B.T degree from any NCTE recognized Institution

Graduate Teacher (Sanskrit):  Shastri and 50% marks in B.A/B.Sc/B.Com degree from any recognized University or B.A./B.Sc/B.Com degree with 50% marks and Sanskrit as one of the subject. The candidate must have completed B.Ed/B.T degree from any NCTE recognized Institution.

Graduate Teacher (Arabic): FM and 50% marks in B.A/B.Sc/B.Com degree from any recognized University or B.A./B.Sc/B.Com degree with 50% marks and Arabic as one of the subject. The candidate must have completed B.Ed/B.T degree from any NCTE recognized Institution

Other Qualification: In addition to such academic and professional qualifications for direct recruitment to the posts mentioned, all candidates shall have to appear above and pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the Government of Assam for Hindi/Sanskrit/Arabic

Medium of Instruction: No candidate is allowed to apply in Bengali or Hindi or Assamese medium schools if the candidate does not have MIL in Bengali or Hindi or Assamese respectively in the HSLC Examination or equivalent certificate/diploma in Bengali or Hindi or Assamese language

Age: The maximum age limit of the candidates as on 01/01/2019 should not be more than 38 years. There will be relaxation by 5 years for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates as per rule in force.

Note: After scrutiny of applications candidates will be called for verification of their testimonials and the select list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured by the candidates as per rule in examinations:

a) HSSLC Examination.
b) B.A/B.Sc/B.Com Examination.
c) B.Ed/B.T Examination and
d) TET Examination.

There will be no marks in Viva-Voce except the following:

a) 10 marks for NCC Certificate (10 marks for "C" and 5 marks for "B" Certificate)
b) 10 marks for participation in recognized sports at National Level representing Assam.
c) 10 marks for achievements in Fine Arts and Cultural activities representing the State Officially at National Level.
d) 50 marks @25 marks for one year of teaching experience as contractual teacher, and another 25 marks for two years, subject to consideration for a maximum period of two years.

How to Apply: The candidates should apply in duly filled up prescribed form of applications along with all self-attested certificates and testimonials to the respective Principal or H/M or Supdt of the Schools on or before 27/08/2019. In-service candidate/candidates should apply through proper channel along with NOC from their employer or otherwise, the application shall be rejected.
