Minimum Qualification: General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)/ B.Sc. Nursing  from Recognized Institution by Indian Nursing Council and Registered under Meghalaya Nursing Council.

Additional: Knowledge of Khasi/Jaintia/Garo language.

Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on 1-01-2019. In case of upper age limit 10 years will be relaxable for the candidates belonging to ST/SC categories.

Scale of Pay: Rs 30300/-( Level -8) of the Revised Pay Structure.

Selection Process: Multiple Choice Written Examination

Venue for the Written Examination:

  • St.  Anthony’s Higher Secondary School, Laitumkhrah,  Shillong.
  • St. Anthony’s College, Laitumkhrah, Shillong.

  • Starting Date of Receiving of Application: 8 July 2019
  • Last Date of Receiving of Application: 31 July 2019
  • Date of written Examination: 24 August 2019

How to Apply: 

Duly filled up Standard form of Application supported with the attested copies of the following documents to be submitted in the office of the Director of Health Service (MI), Laitumkhrah, Shillong on working days between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

Documents to be attached are:


1.Valid Registration Certificate under Meghalaya Nursing Council.

2. Certificate possessing General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)/ B.Sc. Nursing and
higher qualifications from Institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
3. Mark Sheet(s) from Institute recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
4. Mark Sheet of Secondary School Leaving Certificate & Higher Secondary Leaving
Certificate.
5. Character Certificate from the Institution last Passed.
6. Birth Certificate or SSLC Admit Card.
7. Scheduled Tribe Certificate / Scheduled Caste Certificate.
