D C Office Nalbari Recruitment 2019: Field Officer (Disaster Management)
Intending
candidates are hereby called for appearing for Walk-in-interview for the post
of Field Officer (Disaster Management) in Banekuchi Revenue Circle on contract
basis under the Dist. Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Nalbari. Interested candidates may go through the following details.
No of Post: 01
Essential qualification:
(i) Bachelor degree in Science or with Statistics,
Geography, Environmental Science or Geology as a subject or Diploma in Civil
Engineering or Architecture from a recognized university/institution.
(ii) Age should not be below 21 years and above 35 years as
on the 1st day of January 2019, relaxable in case of SC/ST candidates as per
rules.
(iii) Computer skills sspecially MS Words/Excel/Power
Point/Internet usage/Emails. (Preference will be given to candidates having
done BCA or equivalent course on Computer Science).
Duty Station: He/She will be stationed in the Revenue Circle
Office and will work under the direct control and supervision of the Circle
Officer, who will be the authority to sanction leave and Reporting Officer in
respect of Performance appraisal.
Duration of the Contract:
(i)The
contract will be up to 31st March 2020. Further extension will be based on the
decision of the state government.
(ii)The appointment will be purely on contract basis and the party would
not be entitled to any claim, right, interests or further benefits in terms of
regularization or consideration of further appointment to the said post or any
other post.
(iii) The Service of the party can be terminated at any times if the
party is found to be guilty of insubordination, misconduct or non-performance.
(iv) Either party may terminate this contract at any time upon 15 working
days written notice to the other party.
(v) Only the Tribunals & Civil
‘Courts in Guwahati will have the exclusive jurisdiction in respect of matters
pertaining to contractual agreement between the authority and the party.
(vi)
During the contract period, all Rules & Regulations of the State Government
will be applicable to the contractual employees as decided by the authority.
Place of Posting: Banekuchi Revenue Circle, Nalbari
Remuneration:
An amount of Rs. 20,000/- will be paid as fixed and consolidated monthly
remuneration which includes:
(a) Pay: Rs. 15,000/-
(b) Mobility Allowance: Rs.
4,000/-
(c) Telephone Charges: Rs.
1,000/- In case of Official travel, outside the jurisdiction (Revenue circle
area), he/she will be guided by the Rules of Entitlement as laid down in the
Delegation of Administration & Financial Rules of ASDMA
Duties and Responsibilities: The
Field Officer (Disaster management) stationed at the Revenue Circle will have
to perform following duties and responsibilities:
(i) Assist the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) in
preparation and updation of Village, Gaon Panchayat and Circle level Disaster
Management Plans.
(ii) Assist the DDMA in organizing
the conducting capacity building and awareness generation programmes for Circle
level Disaster Management Plans.
(iii) Maintenance of database including minutes, reports, etc. pertaining
to Village Land Management and Conservation Committees.
(iv) Assist DDMA in managing and running the communication systems put in
place at the Circle level.
(v) Assist Circle Officer in coordinating with other departments on
Disaster Management issues at circle level and maintain records pertaining to
Circle level Land Management and Conservation committees.
(vi) Assist DDMA in documentation of critical Circle level challenges and
practices concerning Disaster Management.
(vii) He/She will submit Progress reports in the formats and as per the
time-lines decided by the Authority.
(viii)
Any other duties & responsibilities assigned to him by ASDMA from time to
time.
Leave: The party will be entitled to Casual leave of 12 days
in a year and earned leave, Medical Leave will be applicable as per the Assam
Leave Rules.
Tax: Income Tax/Assam Professional Tax etc. applicable as
per rules will be deducted from Salary/remuneration at source
Venue and Date of the interview: 20th
July 2019 from 11 AM onwards in the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Nalbari
The interview will be for 100 marks with the following break-up:
1. Marks obtained in
Graduation/Diploma level exam: 50 Marks.
2. Knowledge of DM related issues: 20 Marks
3. Knowledge of Computer: 20 Marks
4. Attitude & Personality traits : 10 Marks
How to Apply: The
intending candidates must bring all original documents relating to
qualification, Age, Caste, Residence, Bio Data, etc. and register their names
between 9.30 AM to 12.00 Noon on the day of the interview. The candidates have to
convert the CGPA/OGPA or other grade point mentioned in their original mark
sheet into equivalent percentage in the biodata.
