1. Junior Assistant (UR)

No of vacancy: 2

Scale of Pay: Rs. 14000 to 49000 + GP-6200/-

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• Minimum 6 months Diploma in Computer Application (MS Word, Excel, PPT, Internet, Page Maker, etc.)
• Knowledge of DTP in both English and Assamese.

Place of posting: Directorate of Museums, Assam, Guwahati  and District Museum, under the Directorate of Museums, Assam, Guwahati.

2. Booking Assistant (UR)

No of vacancy: 1

Scale of Pay: Rs. 14000 to 49000 + GP-5600/-

Qualification

12^th  Passed from State/Central education Board/ Council and Diploma in Computer

Place of posting: Directorate of Museums, Assam, Guwahati  

Age Limit: Candidates must not be less than 18 years or more than 38 years of age on 1^st January 2019. Relaxation is admissible in case of upper age limits for SC/ST as per Govt. rule.

How to apply

Duly filled up application form accompanied by self-attested copies of HSLC Admit Card for Age proof, all the educational qualification certificates, Caste certificate, PRC (for General Category), valid employment Registration card, two copies of recent passport size photograph and a self-addressed envelope size (22 cm x10 cm) affixing postal stamp for Rs. 5 only should be submitted by ordinary post to the Office of the Directorate of Museums, Assam, Ambari, Guwahati – 781001 on or before 10^th July 2019.
